Think about the first thing you do when you start your car''s engine. It is very likely that, without realizing it, you consult some data on its control panel to check if you have enough fuel, if you are exceeding the speed limit, or if you are running low on oil ... This dashboard is undoubtedly a very helpful visual tool, allowing you to make quick decisions even if you are not a racing driver. At the enterprise level, there are also platforms capable of visualizing in a global and clear way the state of operation of your organization, department or marketing campaigns, without the need to be a super expert in data analytics. This will allow you to detect areas for improvement, identify trends and make better strategic decisions.

This is the case of the dashboarding platform developed by Cumul.io, a Belgian company specialized in data visualization since 2015. As close partners of this organization, TEIMAS has attended last October 27th to its latest event in Paris: Lunch & Learn.

OLAP, a technology that provides complex analysis

During the meeting organized by Cumul.io, Iago Elizechea had the opportunity to share our experience in the development of technology for online analytical processing (OLAP).

In the words of Elizechea, CTO and founding partner of TEIMAS,"this type of data processing will allow us to manage large amounts of information very quickly". It is a "technology for business intelligence that organizes information, regardless of the origin of the data" and that "allows us to create reports easily".

This large-scale project is currently in the testing phase with several customers and is expected to move from the use of conventional operational databases (OLTP) to analytical databases (OLAP) in the coming months. This change will improve the user experience of TEIMAS software solutions, offering optimal and more personalized performance.
