About the new edition of CONAMA and the CONAMA Foundation

The National Environmental Congress was founded in 1992 by several professional groups. Eight years later, the CONAMA Foundation was born, with the aim of giving the event its own identity and consolidating it as a service of general interest to the environmental sector in Spain.

In line with SDG-17, the CONAMA Foundation acts as a sustainability hub in Spain, with the mission to contribute to building strong partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society to achieve sustainable development.

Under the slogan "Protagonize the transformation: It's time", CONAMA 2022 emphasizes the need to confront once and for all the ecological debt that we have been accumulating and that, despite efforts, continues to grow.
