Solar Impulse recognizes Zero as an economically profitable technological solution that contributes to environmental protection.

This is some text inside of a div block.

This digital platform is called Zero and has been developed by TEIMAS, one of the few technology companies, inside and outside Spain, specialized in waste management software.

The label, awarded by the Solar Impulse Foundation, recognizes Zero as an economically profitable technological solution that contributes to environmental protection.

Zero thus becomes one of the 1,000 clean and profitable solutions that will be presented by Bertrand Piccard, president of Solar Impulse, to political and business decision-makers.

The Zero digital platformdeveloped by the Galician technology company TEIMAS, has just received the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label. The Solar Impulse Foundation Foundation awards this recognition only to products, services, technologies and processes that meet verified standards of economic profitability and environmental sustainability, evaluated by independent experts.

Zero thus becomes part of the "1000 Solutions" that Bertrand Piccard, President of the Solar Impulse Foundation, will present to various decision-makers from companies and governments. The aim of this initiative is to accelerate the transition to a carbon-free economy, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, while at the same time enabling sustainable economic growth.

Solar Impulse has 3,285 members and several partners including the European Commission and the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). Its Solar Impulse Efficient solution label has so far been awarded to a total of 849 members worldwide, of which 28 are in Spain, 2 of them in Galicia. About TEIMAS and Zero

TEIMAS is one of the few technology companies, inside and outside Spain, specialized in waste management software. Among its clients are the Spanish public administration, more than 400 companies focused on professional waste management and several multinationals from different sectors (textile, telecommunications, food and energy).

In 2019, it launched Zero, a cloud platform that enables regulatory compliance for waste management in large corporations and, through data mining, facilitates environmental sustainability strategies. In addition, it ensures full traceability of the waste generated thanks to the use of blockchain technology. With this digital solution, TEIMAS helps companies to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, with SDG 9 ("Industry, innovation and infrastructure") and 12 ("Responsible production and consumption"), as now recognised by the Solar Impulse label.

In the words of Miguel Varela, co-founder and CEO of TEIMAS, "companies are looking for solutions to ensure proper waste management and boost their circular economy strategies. With Zero we respond efficiently to this demand, acting as a technology partner that accompanies companies, through digital transformation, in the development of sustainable production models".
