Talent management in Galician companies has been the subject of study in the ARDÁN 2023 Report, carried out by the Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium and the University of Vigo. This assessment aims to identify organisations with outstanding strategies and update the diagnosis of human resources policies in the region.

For this purpose, a synthetic indicator has been used which, as in previous editions, is based on the responses to a survey of companies representative of the Galician productive fabric.

As a result of this study, a significant diversity in talent management practices was observed, both in different sectors and in the size of organisations. In general, it was found that larger companies tend to have more standardised practices due to greater management complexity.

Although some companies have incorporated aspects of human resources qualification, there is a notable lack of alignment between job needs and qualifications, suggesting the need for a constant effort to motivate improvement.

The report also addresses the lack of talent development plans among Galician corporations. It highlights the challenge of professionalising training policies and improving employee performance evaluation. Although there is awareness of occupational risk prevention, there is an increase in occupational accidents compared to the previous period.

Although some common HR management practices persist in Galician companies, such as the search for improvement ideas among employees and communication systems, the report notes that digitisation is advancing slowly in this area. This indicates that there is still room to take advantage of the benefits that technology can offer in talent management and improve the efficiency of processes.

TEIMAS stands out as in talent management in ARDÁN 2023 report

The report also reveals the lack of talent development plans among Galician companies. Human resources management faces the challenge of professionalising training policies and improving employee performance evaluation. On the other hand, despite awareness of occupational risk prevention, there is an increase in occupational accidents compared to the previous period.

As for the specific evaluation of the "Talent Management" indicator, the report highlights companies in the Information and Knowledge sector as leaders in this aspect. Among them are companies such as TEIMAS, which occupies the sixth position in the ranking.

In the 2023 edition of the ARDÁN Report, TEIMAS has also stood out in the Global Company, Innovative Company and Circular Company indicators.
