To curb climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, EU directives have become stricter: they now require companies to fully monitor the waste they generate, from the beginning to the end of its life cycle.
In order to achieve this full traceability, large corporations must implement waste reduction guidelines for all their related companies as well as their contractors and suppliers. Among them is Red Eléctrica (RE), operator and sole transmission agent of the Spanish electrical system, owned by Redeia.
